2019 marked the 30^th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Today, there is not much left of the former symbol of the division of Germany. One of the last pieces is located between Ostbahnhof and Oberbaumbrücke in Mühlenstrasse. This section of the Wall was painted by more than 100 international artists in 1990 and is known as the East Side Gallery. Simply hop on the underground or S-Bahn (to Warschauer Strasse or Ostbahnhof) and take a leisurely stroll along the 106 works of art on the Wall.

As Germany's first concept mall, ‘Bikini Berlin’ is an attractive centre of attraction in the old west of Berlin. In this renovated building complex from the 1950s, you will find an exciting mix of exquisite boutiques, restaurants and pop-up stores over three floors. Special highlights include the panoramic window with a direct view of the Affenfelsen and the 7000m² roof terrace, which is laid out like an urban park. Incidentally, the shopping temple owes its unconventional name to its shape: It nestles like a bikini top between Budapester Strasse and the Zoological Garden.

The Solar Bar is located right next to the Anhalter Bahnhof railway station in the heart of Berlin. Somewhat hidden away, a lift takes guests up to the 16th floor. From here you have a unique 270° panoramic view over Berlin. While the 16th floor houses the upscale restaurant, the bar with cosy seating is located one floor higher. In the centre is a DJ booth with an integrated lift that shuttles between the two floors. The bar is open daily from 6 pm. You are on the right side here with a casual style of dress.
